How did you get those small picturs of your boats to show up all the time with your signature line? I finally got a great picture of my boat in the act of sailing and would love to include it in my signature line.
When you click on the image button while writing a new post it places (img) (/img) in your text body. I used parenthesis but you must use brackets for it to work, if I had used brackets this message would only show a missing picture rather than the code you must use. To place a picture you must have it on a website with its own unique url. The url goes between the img commands. (Those commands are early HTML code) You can simply type the command codes for an image in your profile signature and place the url, try to get it to line up the way you want with carriage returns. I had to begin using the webspace provided by my cable modem service, I have always used Apple's .mac for a home page but this will not work with .mac. At least I can't find the unique urls on that site.
Step 1, make the picture small using your digital photo editor.
Step 2, upload the picture to a web server, make sure you know the URL and, connect your browser to this URL (as a test). For example, mine is : www.indiscipline.org/cat25/pictures/icon.jpg
Step 3, edit your profile on this forum. Type in your signature, also enter the URL in this format
