Hi Gang,

Does the tall rig model have a bowsprit, like the 27?

My 25 tall rig doesn't have a bowsprit and neither do two 27's that are berthed next to me. They don't have an anchor locker so they store their anchor on their pulpit. I know the 30 has a bowsprit. But I have been wrong before!

C-25 Tall rigs aren't normally equiped with a bow sprit (at least not as a factory option). Wouldn't keep you from getting creative, however...believe that there's just such a tech tip in the C-250 section.

Tall rig C25's don't have a bowsprit. Tall rig C27's and C30's do (at least in our marina!)

No, no bow sprit on tall C-25s. I've seen wooden bowsprits added to boats our size while keeping the original forestay geometry. This seemed to have been done mostly to support additional cruising ground tackle, and as cosmetic styling. Sadly,

My tall rig has no bowsprit. I like the rig and being that it is a heavy boat I think it does well to have the extra canvas.
