SYNOPSIS FOR NORTHERN CALIFORNIA WATERS

TODAY...N WIND 10 TO 15 KT...
WIND WAVES 2 TO 3 FT...
NW SWELL 16 TO 18 FT

We'll get the 20 to 30 footers later this Winter. Watching those puppies hit the coastline is pretty spectacular.

Currently maintaining two holes in the water...'77 Venture 23 and new to the family,

If you surf. I've got Mavericks Cove right down the
street from me. Swam there before it became a Mecca
for the Pros with the sometimes monsterous waves.

I usually go sailing after work Thursday and Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday (plus one other evening mid week). Those evening sails will be over with the end of daylight savings time. <img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>

Right now the waves are up in Southern CA as well. Waves 4 to 5 feet at 4 seconds, wind 2 "gusting" 4. Does not sound good for this evening. If the wind comes up a little I may sail around Mission Bay. At least its sunny and warm.
