I was slowly becoming sympathetic to the Macgregor concept until I saw the latest version at the Newport Boat Show this summer--they've done away with the walk-through transom, carpeted the interior with shaggy peach velour stuff, and put some kind of vanity with mirror where a galley should be. the interior is lined with some kind of peach imitation leather--the whole thing looks like a floating bordello...
