Anyone wanting to dust off the snow and come on down to dry out/thaw out this winter, AYC's birthday regatta is January 17/18 2004. Temps in the 80's (typical - 95% guaranteed).

Entries from Tucson, New Mex, CO, CA, NV and beyond represented. Also doubles as the Lukemia Cup for AZ.

Looks like we will have quite a mixed bag of Catalina 25's. Several 25 swings, a fin, 250 WB and wings. I'll make sure I have a photo crew onboard for the race. We will get our own start, so I do not have to race against those darn C27's and 30's.

The regatta is held at Lake Pleasant, about 30 miles north of Phoenix. It is not a big lake, but lots of coves for water camping and enough room to let the chute fly for a bit.
