Char and I will be in the south Jacksonville area for breakfast on January 20th and would enjoy the opportunity to meet other c25/250 sailers from the area.
The next morning we will be around Cocoa Florida and would like to meet with other c25/250 sailers from the that area. That would be the morning of January 21st.
Our plans are to continue to Port St Lucie and would love to meet some of y'awl from that area. Breakfast on January 22 would be good.
The next night is kinda open as we have several friends in the Port St Lucie area, but if there is interest we could arrange for something around West Palm Beach on the morning of the 23rd and around Ft Lauderdale on the 24th.
The purpose of these get togethers is to meet other c25/250 sailers, share some time together and if y'awl have interest start discussions about developing a fleet or fleeets in these areas.
Hope some of you can make one of these breakfasts.
Have a great holiday season.
Don Peet, C25/250 2004-2005 National Association Commodore The Great Sacandaga Lake, NY
Don, sent you an EM for a little more info, but let me know when, were and what time and I'll see you there. Come on the rest of you Jax sailors, here's a change to meet one of your elected association officers, have a decent breakfast for a change and hear and tell "war stories" of your sailing experiences. Plus maybe we can all learn somthing.
FROM ALL THE FROG0911 CREW TO YOU AND YOURS HAVE A HAPPY AND SAFE HOLIDAY SEASON.
Plans for breakfast on January 20 are beginning to take shape. I've asked Frog (Jerry M) to suggest a place for us to gather, and I'll announce the plans here and in individual e-mails. Looks like we will have at least three boats represented, and this morning discovered an Jacksonville area c25/250 sailor.
"There is great little diner in Cocoa Beach on SR 520 about two blocks west of of SR A1A." (Leon Sisson) That's the place, name to follow, but probably even I could find it with that information. We'll meet at 7:30 or 8:00 a.m. More details to follow.
Nothing happening re. Port St Lucie-Stuart area, yet!
These breakfasts will give us a chance to other c25/250 sailors and the opportuntiy to share war-stories about our sailing experiences. If you live in one of these area, let me know and plan on joining us. If you cannot join us, but would like to - maybe you're going north for some snow , and live in one of these areas, or even W.Palm or Ft Lauderdale, let me know.
