I have not had the opportunity to use the stove, but tested it today.

I can hear the piezio ticking and it lights the propane when I push down and turn. I ease the pressure on the knob and the piezio stops and the flame contiues at the various settings.

I let go completely and the flame goes out!!??!!

Any ideas? I don't need another anchor...so hold up on that one.

Mike, I don't even have curtains and got rid of the stove. I didn't like the installation process for the cannisters, have read thresds
on this forum about other owners issues with that stove and changeouts. A nice breadboard fits over that slot very nicely. "Bear"

In most gas appliances, a flame that won't stay lit when the control knob is fully released indicates a bad or mis-positioned thermocouple... (pilot sensor)... or perhaps a faulty control valve. If you're not experienced at working on this stuff, I'd take it to a professional repair facility. (RV service center, store that sells/services gas appliances etc.)
