Anyone know of a dealer offering a good variety, quality, and pricing on a 135 or 110 furling jib?

I've checked out CD & Sail Warehouse
Also if you could give your thoughts on using a Jib over a Genny in moderate conditions. Problem I have is with my 150 Genny it is sometimes difficult to see over the Bow, and I don't trust those stinkpots.

Thanks

Frank Rich

I talked to Jack in NY from SAILS EAST- 800-258-8918 good prices and 10% discount over the winter months. i had the genny cut a little shorter on the luff and can see under it easily- not everyone likes to lose the sail area though.

I often use the 110% jib in moderate winds, instead of the 150, because it is much easier to tack, especially if singlehanding, and, if the bottom and keel are smooth and fast, the 110 moves the boat almost as well as the 150. If the bottom is foul, the boat decelerates quickly in the lulls and it takes a long time for it to get back up to speed. If the bottom is smooth, the boat loses less speed in the lulls and accelerates back up to speed faster. Keeping your bottom in good condition isn't just good for racing. With a smooth bottom, your boat will perform nearly as well with less sail area, and that allows you to enjoy the benefits of a smaller sail (better visibility, easier to handle, ability to point higher, etc.) without the detriments.
