Is there a diagram or instructions on how to run the backstay adjusters, Main Sheet, and the traveler lines. When I purchased my '86 FK in December it was delivered with the mast unstepped. All the rigging and lines were taken apart before I got a chance to see how it was rigged. I checked the archives and there was a link to a site that had instructions but the link no longer works. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks for the info. I'll be launching her in April so I'll have to wait until then to rig. In the mean time I've learned how much work I have left to do to bring back the hull to a shiny finish. I spent the better part of 4.5 hours on just the transom on Sunday. I'm using a medium oxidation rubbing compund and a wax finish... it looks awesome but I've got another 50'x4' to do...not to mention sand and paint the bottom. I'm not sure If it'll be done by April.
Keep at it. My wife and I redid ours (#21) last fall and watching the boat come back to life provided greater motivation to keep at it. After you get the hull shiny, the bottom will look so shabby that you'll force yourself to get started on it. The difference was amazing. Unfortunately, someone stole my wife camera with the pics from the launching still in it so I don't have any to post. A lot of knowledge here to help you through the rough spots. I'm sure your boat will look great by April.
