I am interested in buying a C250 with wing keel that is 1999 or newer. Looking for a motivated seller with a very clean boat. Prefer boat with wheel steering and a trailer. Ideal boat should be in western U.S. since I live in Reno, NV. This would be a cash sale subject to a survey.

Hi Jim,

Steve Steakley is selling a really nice 250WK, and he just installed a pull-pull open cable system on his wheel ... have you seen it? Here is the link: Moon Chaser

It's a really nice boat with lots of upgrades, and it really scoots!

The 1999 cutoff was just an arbitrary decision. The thought was, the newer the boat the better the condition and less deferred maintenance. Since I am remodling my house, I don't need another project. My domestic supervisor says she wants to sail a boat not sand it.

I can understand wanting to sail rather than sand. I went from a '76 to a '95 ... almost new!
