Today I checked on my 84 C-25, which is on the hard here on Long Island.

Another possible culprit is the genoa track, which has gillions of thru-bolts, most of which come in behind the teak trim above the windows. I had seepage on the starboard side, so I removed the teak strip and had a friend hold each nut from below while

There are a zillion spots it could come in. It may not have been there at all and snuck in from aft since the boat on a trailer or jack stands isn't the same angle as when it is in the water. Beside what Dave said regarding the jib tracks, there is also

I rebed all the stancions and found a major leak under the chainplate that holds down the forestay (furler). Rebed everything. There was hardly any caulk under these spots.

This is mostly a repeat of a post which I made back in October.
I had been plagued with leaks for a couple of years and chased around inspecting and rebedding fittings, mostly to no avail.
Then I hit on a method of FINDING the leaks instead of guessing
