I have finally sold my old boat ('79 C-25 Mk. I #1205), and the new owner is taking delivery today. It is working out as I had hoped, in that they are buying just the boat, allowing me to keep my trailer for the new boat (#5857). We are going to simply swap the boats in my slip at Owl Harbor - #1205 will now live there, at least until the new owner gets a trailer for her, and #5857 will move to my dry storage space at Folsom Lake. I will miss Owl Harbor, especially having electricity and water right at the slip, which is a luxury unknown at Folsom Lake Marina. But my sailing club is based out of Folsom Lake, and I want to be where my friends are, so we will move the boats this weekend. In a way, I will miss the old boat too, as I have many fond memories of wonderful cruises in her over the 8 years I have owned her, including two trips to the San Juans, and a couple of July 4th holidays weekends at Lake Tahoe. Hope everyone has a good weekend, and best of luck to those of you who are splashing for the first time these next couple of weekends (Frank Hopper, et al).
