Does anybody have the mapping software for a Garmin GPS? We have a laptop and the GPS but are interested in the mapping softeware. Opinions?

There are several mapping programs. The key thing is what maps can you load into them besides their own product. Fugawi will accept almost any format. Even the ones you can down load for free form NOAA. Map Source is ok and the rest I have seen are very restrictive as to whos charts you canuse I.E. you have to use theirs and that charge a lot. I hope the above links will provide you with penty of information and free charts. Have a great season. Oh and yes Fugawi will interface your Garmin to your lap top so you can see a moving charts as you navigate.
