Steve, is this a vinyl "decal", or the actual plastic gizmo that sticks out about 1/8" or so? I would really prefer the decal, I think.....
My boat never had them, nor the coaming boxes! (but I may have the only C25 with double lifelines....There are some interesting options on these boats.

Gary, I'll meet you halfway . . . they're about 1/16" thick. I had them made thinner with the hope that there would be less material to catch your heel on - which is how mine got broken.

That's exactly the reason that I removed mine, although they were in good condition.
I am pleased to report that so far (knock on wood) I've only had positive feedback on these. If there were a problem I would either change the product, refund the monies and discontinue them. That's not to say they won't become brittle with age and UV exposure. Okay, okay so this built-in obsolescence is by design but I can't help myself - after all I'm an American .
I have had Steve's logos on my boat for awhile now and they still look great. The shiny black letters show no signs of fading and looked the same today as they did when I put them on.
For the money, you won't find another item that will dress up your boat more.
