I am moving my C27 and have found a trailer for rent that is for a C25 that has all roller supports. The owner says the trailer will easily support the extra weight but he is not sure if the rollers will conform right to the C27 hull. Anyone have any ex

Brad, I am not 100% positive about this but I think that a trailer designed for a Catalina 25 would only have two axles. Each axle is rated for 3000 Lbs max. The Catalina 27 is about 6900 lbs so it would legally need a three axle trailer. I looked at a

BE CAREFUL!!!!! You'd sure want to double check the capacity of the trailer and axles carefully. Plus, while I have an EZ Loader with rollers, I'm not convinced they give better support at all. There's not lots of surface area in those 32 little roller

Also, check the state you live in as to how wide you can go with your load without hassles, like a lead car, special signs, etc. A friend of mine towed his Catalina 30 from New Mexico to Anacortes WA (a three axle trailer with a BIG Dodge truck) and had

Brad it will not work without adjusting the rollers! The draft is different and the length will cause the bow stop to need adjustment as well. You'll need to get the load centered on the trailer otherwise you won't have enough tongue weight. To get a rou

Have you checked into having a Marine Transport Service move the boat for you? I purchased a Cat 25 on a cradle last fall and had a service move the boat from the seller's backyard to my marina. It cost me a few boat units, but it was well worth the peace

Brad, if you're anywhere near San Francisco we should talk because I've got a C27 trailer that I'm not using right now since my boat's in the water. I haven't rented it out before but would be open to it.
