I know I <b>should </b>reef when I think it might be time to reef.
And until yesterday I hadn't reefed 'cause I hadn't tried it and my boat wasn't set up well for it.
So when the wind was strong (in the past) I was <i>overpowered and uncomfortable.</i>
Yesterday I reefed my main and sailing was <b>very calm and balanced</b>.

So I encourage anyone to practice reefing your main before you even leave the dock.
It was delightful to sail in 15 - 20 knots NOT overpowered.
You will be glad you did!

Not only is it more comfortable, if you are racing you will be passing up other people.

In the Las Vegas Review..I almost choked on my bong water when I read this!

An initiative seeking to legalize possession of up to 1 ounce of marijuana in Nevada could go up in smoke.

Petition organizers last week announced that they had submitted sufficient signatures to qualify the petition for the November ballot.

However, Billy Rogers, president of the political consulting firm seeking to qualify the petition, subsequently discovered a box of about 6,000 signatures that <b>no one remembered to turn in</b>.
