Yep, it passed just north of the lake. We had one system coming from the southwest and another coming from the northwest. The picture is after they converged and moved east. We got our race in.

When dropping the main on the water I just grab a couple of them, at the dock I redo it for the night. I added the new shock cord to replace the worn out cord that had originally been there. These products are called spiders and mine was from Davis. One of the hooks broke last night, they have a lot of sun damage, I will look for replacements.

It is posterized a little but I think it was my Canon S50 trying to deal with the sun or just the loosey effect on a compressed jpeg. I compress to 8 rather than a full 12. Absolutely beautiful. I recently purchased a Nikon Coolpix 8700, 8 megapixel digital camera. My first foray into the medium of digital photography and I am very impressed with it's performance.
