Could anyone give me some advice on an outboard that is offered on E-bay? the item # is 2484325270. It seems this may work for the time being.

I have a 7.5 hp Mercury on my boat ... it is a 1977 model, and it still plugs away. The only trouble I've had with it was due to an unscrupulous powerboat dealership that tuned it ...

Good luck ... 'hope you find the perfect, affordable o/b so you can get to sailing!
