I see reference to a catalina 25 "tall rig". Could someone give me a definition of that. My mast is 28 feet. Tall?

Thanks

you are Standard Rig. The Tall rig mast is 2 feet taller, and the boom is 1 foot lower.

If you go to this site's home page, click on brochures and manuals, then "original manual," then select the first category - I think it's "spars & rigging," then click on pic #9 (in parentheses about halfway down, middle of the page), you'll see a drawing of the difference and the specs for both standard and tall rigs.
