Today the 250 formerly known as Lady Kay took a shower, with soap and water, put on her Sunday best, and strutted her stuff for a member of the Surveyors Guild. He was duly impressed. He was sent by a gentleman whose hand I e-shook to seal a deal to purchase the vessel. After the florins change hands we will pick a spot mutually convenient, somewhere in Tennessee I think, and we will have a formal transfer of command ceremony.

I will convey the burgee, and will buy the new owner a years worth in this dubious society. I will tell him to come here and say hello, and take advantage of all the resident sages. I will be back with the final chapter soon...(I hope)

Oscar you don't have to make it a final chapter. I sure everyone would welcome you and your bits of wisdom any time.

Oscar,

Congratulations on the new boat. She's a beauty! The masthead photo is great. Maybe you could keep the 250 as your dinghy.
