Today the 250 formerly known as Lady Kay took a shower, with soap and water, put on her Sunday best, and strutted her stuff for a member of the Surveyors Guild. He was duly impressed. He was sent by a gentleman whose hand I e-shook to seal a deal to purchase the vessel. After the florins change hands we will pick a spot mutually convenient, somewhere in Tennessee I think, and we will have a formal transfer of command ceremony.
I will convey the burgee, and will buy the new owner a years worth in this dubious society. I will tell him to come here and say hello, and take advantage of all the resident sages. I will be back with the final chapter soon...(I hope)
Oscar congrats on the sale, hope it all goes smoothly. The gent will have a fine boat, and I'm sure we'll make him feel right at home when he starts posting his questions. Good luck! Lookin' foward to seeeing the new "Lady Kay".
Congratulations!!!!! Oscar, do not hesitate to forward the new owner my email address in case he wants to turn his beaching rudder into cool hard cash! Willy
