After getting the mast stepped again last week I took Chick-a-pea out for a shake down. Spent last night on her. Then this morning I spent four hours thoroughly cleaning below deck. There was mildew everywhere from the hot and wet summer. And the teak wood was pretty bad too. So I tried the advice that someone gave on the forum here and washed it and then sprayed PAM on all of it. I sure hope it does not attract bugs It did look pretty good though. I know the last time I used teak oil and it made a major mess.

Safe voyages,
Ben

Ben - I've found that in the Texas sun, any oil based product will mildew within a couple of months. It's why I now swear by Cetol!
