Many thanks for all of the response to my question about what engine to buy, I've decided on a Nissan 9.8 xl with electric start. The price and lite weight, plus good reviews helped me decide. Now, what is best way to get the cables into the battery compartment? I know I want a water tight, gas fume sealed opening.
Thanks again

This should give you some ideas. I have the Tohatsu, which is basically the same as the Nissan. Matter of fact the Nissan is built by Tohatsu.

Thanks;
That helps a lot, I'll collect up a couple of fittings;
both of the dealers that I talked to about the engine sell both Nissan and Tohatsu, I think I chose Nissan cuz I like their decals better
Thanks;
