take a look at CD's smoked plexiglglas hatch. It looks great and lets a lot of light into the forward cabin. The only drawback is the price. over $400.00. I found it worthwile because of the improved livability below.
Estaban, I ordered a new plexiglass hatch from CD, it took six months to fill the order, (I had actually forgotten about it) once it came in I honestly think that the money it cost would have been better spent somewhere else on the boat. It looks nice but I realy do not feel it is high on the list of things that make for a better sailing boat. If nothing else is left to upgrade then go for it. With that said I will get of my "soap box"
You bet! - I'd like to take you up on that. I have a hefty soft spot on my hatch and after just replacing the hatch latches Im going to have to drill new holes to line up the hatch correctly. Off course - I'll pick up the tab and I'll send you note via e-mail.
I would think an 85' hatch would fit an 81'... sounds right?
