Does anyone know why those little paper divots that get punched out of a Hollerith card are named after a country in West-Central Africa to begin with? Is it possible that the fracas over the 2000 U.S. Presidential election was caused by some kind of dark conspiracy involving a secret Chad government agency, like the Chad equivalent of the CIA? I believe their headquarters is located on a grassy knoll on the south side of Ndjamena (the capitol city of Chad, y'know!). I kmow, I'm losin' it! With my boat on the hard for the next 5 months, I've got to find some relief somewhere, even if it's in posting weird, Arlo Guthrie-esque humor.
