C Angel is going to San Diego on Thanksgiving to spend the weekend. I seriously need some boat time. I don't even care if I have to stay at the dock the whole time, which is at slip L-49 Marina Village Marina, Mission Bay. Hopefully though, the weather will cooperate. I plan to drive down and setup on Thursday, then sail that afternoon, Friday, Saturday, Sunday morning, then pack up and head north. Will anyone else be sailing there that weekend?

I'm sure to be ther Friday and probably Sat and Sun too. Gary has the whole week off. We don't have anything special planned. Just sailing and fishing with friends and family. Really cool that you could get on L dock!!!

The next big Fleet 7 event is going to be the raft up for the Mission Bay parade of lights (Christmas). Its in early Dec. Last winter, we had a ball. I'll post more info when I have the date and times, etc.

I will definitely be there Friday, maybe on Saturday, too.

Mission Bay Parade of lights is on December 11, starting at 7pm. Fleet 7 will be sailing during the day, then rafting up early evening for dinner, drinks, socializing, lighting our boats, then watching the parade go by. Some may go anchor in Mariner's Cove for the night or just head back to the dock for more party time. Join us if you can.

Charlie, I will have to start including you in our Fleet 7 Newsletters, which all come by email and haven't been all that frequent .

Also, maybe we can get a Fleet 7 sail going for that Friday or Saturday? Will have to send out another Newsletter to the Seventh Fleet members, the second of the day.

Charlie - even if you can't bring the boat down for the parade of lights Dec. 11, why not consider just driving down and joining us? My boat will be full but I'd bet there will be room on Classical Cat.

If you were interested we could try to work it out with Gary.
