Is it just me or has the site become very slow? I see it on all three of my computers, two macs and a bimdows machine. Of course the cached pages fly but going to new content is very slow. Is it time for some site maintenance?

Yes it is time for site maintenance. There is a strange problem with the database, though. I can't condense it and I want to work that problem out before I archive old posts. It will get done soon.
