THU...S WIND 15 TO 20 KT. WIND WAVES 3 TO 4 FT.
WEST SWELL 20 TO 22 FT AT 15 SECONDS.

On second thought... it might be a nice day to stay in the marina and listen to the wind in the rigging. ;>)

There are a series of pretty robust Pacific storms out there... sweeping
toward the coast... (from NWS Eureka)

WEST SWELL ARRIVED AT THE CRESCENT CITY BUOY AROUND MIDNIGHT.

AT 2AM...BUOY 27 WAS REPORTING 22 FEET PERIODS ARE RUNNING
BETWEEN 13 AND 17 SECONDS. SWELL TO PEAK NEAR 25 FEET AROUND
8 AM ALONG THE DEL NORTE AND HUMBOLDT COASTLINES...
THEN SUBSIDE TO 18 FEET THIS AFTERNOON.

Figure those 25' swells can have a 6' chop sitting on top of them too.
The North Pacific is not a 'friendly' ocean. (if any of them are)
