This is going to be the LAST TellTale that we print, duplicate, and send out in hard copy to members without email or web access. We will tell everyone that gets this issue by mail to please send me a postcard with your address if they want to continue to receive the newsletter in hardcopy. Otherwise we are going all electronic. I figure we'll save lots of your $ doing this (we currently send out 115 hard copies - probably will drop to 1 or 2, if that).
Remember, the TellTale is for MEMBERS ONLY.
If you are a member and are receiving the TellTale in the US Mail, you must send me a postcard if you want to continue.
Oh yeah, a benefit, once we go to all electronic (or nearly all electronic) our copying costs and postage costs will drop so much that I can actually produce the kind of TellTale I want, with photos, articles, Tech Tips and more. If I run the page count up too much NOW duplication costs would break our bank.
People without email or web access can still get the TelTale by hardcopy. All they have to do is lift a finger and tell me that they want it that way.
Submit your photos to be on the cover of the TellTale for all to see! Nominate great forum threads to be made into Tech Tips. Write articles, send jokes (sailing-related G rated).
OK Jeff, I'm a total dumbass. I found the link to the telltale on the home page, but when I typed in the username and password that I use to send in posts it tells me that I'm invalid. (or is it that I am an invalid)
I give up. I hope that there's nothing important there
It's a special username and password that came in your welcome/renewal letter. If you're a member and missing the information, you can email Don Peet and he can provide it for you. (I'd do it for you, but I don't have an updated membership roster at the moment.)
