Does any one know of a marine salvage comapny that would have parts like winches and such. I am trying to locate some winches for the cabin top and for the spinnaker in the stern.

I have tried Don's with no luck.

Thanks

Brent,

Try:

Sometimes they have used winches as a result of installing upgrades.

In Annapolis there are several places that deal in used equipment, Bacon and Associates is one but there are others. You might go prowl your local boat yards as well. Almost all now have an abandoned row in the back from which stuff can be bought. Dave

Gee, I would have thought that with all the devastation from the hurricanes this past year on the East coast that we would see an onslought of salvaged marine parts out there. My BoatUS magazine sure has highlighted the potential of marine insurance premium increases as a result of all the claims. So, where are all the damaged boats and their respective salvaged parts?

Okay - so there are a bunch out there - one I found was Horne's Marine Salvage -

Looks like they have quite a bit of stuff, but it also appears that you need to call them to get specifics.
