It looks like we will be (the evelyn 32, not a c-25) will be sailing Charleston Race Week this year. Any local sailing information would be appreciated... Tidal influences, Currents, Prevailing favored side of the course etc. Feel free to email me at my yahoo account, or post something here.

I've been sailing in Charleston harbor since '99. I have never taken part in any sanctioned races here, so I can't give you any advice for this specific event (looks like you've already been briefed anyway). My advice for you is that you make sure your depth finder is in good order before you stray from the channels/course. The bottom is a soft mud, but it really doesn't take much to pull your rudder's pintles out (trust me). I think you will love sailing in this harbor. Good luck to you!
