Ahoy, all C25/C250 Captains. Consider this an official invatation to the 11th annual Payette Cup Regatta in beautiful McCall, Idaho on 3-5 June. Payette Lake is 100 mi. north of Boise and is a beautiful natural alpine lake at 5000'elv. We typiclly have 30-40 boats participate from Mill Harbor Yacht Club, Southern Idaho Sailing Association, and Lewiston Idaho. We have 6 C25's and 3 C250's in our club that love to race so a C25 fleet race is guaranteed. We typially have 5 races in our 2day event. (3 Saturday and 2 Sunday).

<b><i>Magic!</i></b>
Actually, it was easy, since Andy supplied his email address and his Shutterfly password (now edited and gone) ... I just logged into Andy's Shutterfly photo album, got the URL address of the photo, and posted it in the usual way. Andy was having problems because he was using a Mac instead of a PC ... I have no idea how to post photos with a Mac, so, the only way I could help out was to post the photo myself.
BTW, there were several other photos in the album ... Andy's lake looks like a great place to sail!
thanks guys, 45 north is my pride and joy. I sold a my nice C250 to get her. She's got all the good, go fast stuff on her. If you're in the Pacific Northwest you should come to our regatta.

Andy, yer boat was built exactly 60 hulls before mine (5608 - 5668). Mine has all the go fast equipment of a brick. Fortunately, I'm a cruiser, not a racer.
Steve, One of my friends in the club owns #5614. The boats came to Boise from Catalina on the same truck and have spent every summer on Payette lake (pure water), with a couple of side trips to Puget Sound and the Sea of Cortez. Tom's "Tina Marie" is probably one of the most beautiful C25's in the world. He is a master woodworker and the cabin reflects it with teak/holly floor, custom inlaid table and custom touches on the cabinetry. He's also a very fast racer, I finally beat him once last summer after years of trying!.
Steve I'm a photographer by trade so I'll make sure that happens. I'll get some pics as soon as we get off the hard. Payette lake is heaven on earth in the summer but as we speak it's still frozen over. I sure envy you guys that can sail all year. I guess it makes us appreciate it more when our season is from late April to mid October. I tend to get real grumpy this time of year!!
How about posting the particulars on where we can redgister, entry fees and so on. We here in Indiana love to travel and race unlike so many others on this form.
Bill, (and all interested parties) We would love to have you come to beautiful Idaho! Email me, anderson77_41@msn.com and I'll send you all the particulars. Entry fee is only $25 It's not just the racing; the town, lake and area is just beautiful. I'm not sure there's another spot in the U.S that's like it. Hiway 55 north out of Boise is 2 lane but wide and improved with many turnouts. The scenery on the drive is beautiful, following the N fork of the Payette river. The Payette River is one of the best Kyacking rivers in the U.S
Great idea posting racing venues on the forum. Thanks for doing it. Its a long way from the Great Sacandaga Lake in upstate NY, but others, almost everyone is closer!
Others are invited to start a thread promoting their open racing opportunities.
