Libecchio is a 1984 C-25 swing keel standard rig. Located in Auburn, Maine. 1999 9.9 hp Honda 4-stroke long-shaft manual start outboard with cockpit remote controls, on 1996 lifting bracket.

Sails: 2000 new Doyle mainsail with reefing line and downhaul controlled from cockpit. 135 genoa (serviceable for now but will soon need replacement) on CDI roller-furler. Cruising spinnaker, little-used in good condition. Two main halyards plus the spinnaker halyard.

Interior: V-berth has accordion door for privacy as does head compartment. Thetford Marine portable electric-flush head with 6-gal holding tank, with y-valve and Whale pump for overboard discharge. Hanging locker across from head.

Galley: Two-burner propane stove. Icebox with overboard drain. 14-gallon water tank, sink w/hand pump.

Nav gear: Bulkhead-mounted Ritchie compass, tested and found no deviation 2000. Furuno radar. Davis Weather-Station III with wind speed and direction indicator mounted on radar mast. Standard Horizon speed, log and depth. Navco Tillermaster 2500 autopilot.

Ground tackle: standard Danforth-type anchor with chain and nylon rode, as well as a heavy Danforth-type storm anchor with chain and rode.

Other: Standard VHF radio with rail-mounted antenna. New custom-made Dodger 1997. “Pop-top” cabin for 6’ 2” headroom with snap-on enclosure for use when moored or anchored. Brand new keel winch and keel cable; winch is installed but cable needs to be hooked up.

The Load-Rite Trailer got new surge brakes in 1999; trailer has not been in salt water since then. (Boat is launched and hauled once a year by crane.) Re-wired trailer in spring 2002.

Finally, this boat is perfectly set up for single-handing, with all sail lines (main halyard, reefing line, downhaul, and jib roller-furling lines) led through two triple rope clutches, one on each side of the cabin top. Comes with fenders, fire extinguishers, 4 adult PFDs, boat hook -- pretty much everything.

The previous owner bought this boat in 1996 for $8,500 and put almost $10,000 into it before I bought it in May 2001. After two years my wife said, If we’re going to keep doing this we need a bigger boat. So I bought a Pearson 303.

Libecchio needs to get her bottom wet again: $8,400 or best offer.
