Hi everyone,

For the second day in a row, this Forum has become all but unusable. Judging by the comments from a couple of others, plus the relatively few postings recently, I don't think I'm the only one who is having problems.

I can't count how many times I've gotten error messages like "unknown host," "web site not responding," "refresh page," etc. etc. etc. It takes forever to read threads, and posting a response is even worse ... as I type this, I'm wondering if I've got the patience to submit it over and over and over and over again until the system finally accepts it ...

I've done literally dozens of "spybot" scans and virus scans, and I've rebooted my computer over and over ... I don't think the problem is with my computer ... besides that, all other web sites seem to work fine.

What is going on? Is there work being done on the Forum server? Is it time for some sort of maintenance? 'Something else

No doubt there is a problem. I can't even reach the server from work anymore. Highly unusual considering the connection speeds I have.

Our host, Adaptive, was down. Hopefully they have everything working again.

Has been intermittent here for a week and couldn't get on for a several hour long period this morning.

I did an archive while the forum was down. Maybe this will help with the speed.
