I am actually moving down to a smaller boat and would possibly consider working out some type of trade for around an 18' keelboat.
James Curious as to what your hull # is ? I owned an 85 C25 - #5541 for several years. Also, your link references alcohol stove - above an electric. Could you clarify? I now have a C30 - that is for sale here - as I am also down sizing back to a C25 or a C27. Sold my C25 - same as your specs pretty much, with out furling for 8K 2 years ago. Just wanted to tell you that as your price seems to be fair for the area we are both in. I'm in Greensboro by the way.
James Wish you were moving UP since your fairly close by. Yours is one swing keel I might consider given your great options list. Must be something in the air - seems like quite a few I've talked to lately in person and online are down sizing for one reason or another. If I sell the C30 before you part with your C25 - I'll be in touch. I've schedueled quite a few to visit the C30 this weekend - so we'll see. Good Luck!
Hope one of these works out for you this weekend. Must be the nicer weather... I am also showing mine over the weekend. Let me know if you end up selling yours and want to come take a look.
Mark, I meet you in Greensboro one afternoon and bought a pair of your fine logos, remember. I'm alittle surprised your selling your c30. Was Smith Mt.Lake alittle to far to be convenient? Or were you not as pleased with the c30. I'm still at Blewes Lake on my c25. Are you coming back to the lake? Take care. Mike Walkup c25 tr/fk
Mike! Great to hear from you...Of course I remember you and glad the sail cover logos worked out well. I sent you an email but...No, I love the C30 and SML..I'm just finding that the C30 is a bit more than I want in order to single hand. Call it old age, lazy, or something. I know Blewes is close to both of us, but one tour around SML and I'll bet you'd be hooked about like I was! Lots of wet slips and openings available at VISA YC at the moment. Give me a yell if you would like to visit one day. Best Regards ~~
