A couple people asked me to post some more pictures of my bimini and shade tarp in the general forum. Since its a 250 I decided to post them over here.

Here's the bimini stowed. I moved the boom sheet attachment were it attaches on the boom forward about a foot to gain more bimini coverage. With the boom centered the sheet is vertical.

This picture show's how the straps run, the front strap is easy to see, the rear strap hooks in the same place the life line hooks to on the wing seats, so no holes to drill there.

This picture shows half the (60")zipper on the front of the bimini and the other on the tarp.

Here's a shot showing how the front of the shade tarp is secured, I put grommets on each corner and use bungee cords hold it in place.

Here's a picture looking forward, The tarp was made from pieces of sunbrellea so that’s why there are seams. By the tarp not being the same width as the bimini gives you room to go up on deck around the tarp if you need to.

I'm amazed how much cooler it keeps the cabin area.

Tom, Your bimini is awesome. I looked over every day with envy. The sun was the reason we headed in a night early for Beer. I will not cruise without one again.

Tom.

Hey Tom, where you been? We're planning a St. Augustine trip in the fall.

Tom,
Since the trip, I have been dealing with a flu in the house, Adina's summer school, and generaly bad weather here. Are you going to be bringing the boat in the fall?

Tom.

Tom, that is a very nice installation. The background in your photos looks very familiar. Any chance your home berth is on Lake Lanier in Georgia? If so, can you recommend the shop who built your bimini? The Georgia sun and doldrums make summer sailing pretty brutal some days...
Thanks.

Fred
