Got to sail Swimmer Sunday afternoon after spending most of Saturday finishing up wiring of instruments and other sundry chores. Winds were light and variable but managed to get her to 2.5 knots on a few too brief occasions in winds that never got over 7 mph. Perhaps it's my imagination, but she seemed to go much more smoothly. She sits higher in the water now. What follows is a few pictures of the final work I did. Had one set back, when they moved her to jack stands so I could finish painted, the hull cracked on the starboard side of the keel. Probably the unloading of the weight from the cradle. The boatyard fixed it for me though and I was only delayed a few days fortunately.



Interprotect 2000 barrier coat



VC 17 Bottom paint. I put a coat of red on first, then blue, hopefully to show me where it is worn after the season.

Thanks for all the suggestions and recomendations I recieved from so many of you.

Now I'm going to learn to sail her and love every minute of it.
