After much shopping and consideration et al, I recently bought a '85 C25 sk/sr, and finally (work permitting) took her out for an overnight maiden voyage and I'm absolutely in love. Thanks to bbs member Ken T. who guided me to her, and to all of you who have been so thorough in all your posts/archive logs/etc which helped get me up to speed and make this decision. You guys really, really helped. There is an incredible fount of info around this place.

Had my good friend from the Bay (transpac vet, etc) up to cruise with me for the maiden journey, and he loved this li'l boat as well. We spent the time sailing and lashing rigging and doing all the general small stuff that always needs being done on any boat and having the time of my life. Got a lot to learn about her but I suspect I'm in good hands here. Thanks again, folks.

We've all felt what you're feeling, Zeke, and it's always fun to see another newbie get bitten by the bug. Welcome aboard!

Just counted up my log last night, I now have 283 days at sea in my 25-year-old C25. I still feel that every time.

Good goin' Zeke!

I, too, get all giddy everytime I set foot on my boat.
