Hello Folks,

I was going through the photo gallery but thought that we dont really see too much... So what would you think of a showoff post here... where everyone can post an image or two of their baby...

Heres mine... Leo

If we all start posting full size images in one thread, that thread can rapidly grow to many megabytes. Everytime we want to see the latest addition, we have to download the entire collection first.

I think descriptive links to the photos, rather than embedded images would be appreciated by those of us with dial-up connections. If you're feeling really Web-talented, post thumbnails with captions linked to the full size images. Like this:

Can someone tell the rest of us how to attach an imbedded link with a thumbnail? That is very slick, and easy. Thanks.

Pictures you include are not "embedded" nor stored on our National Association web site in any way. That is why you have to add a link to a valid internet address to see a photo.

Now it might take megabytes of bandwidth to VIEW this thread, but it will not take megabytes of storage on the NA web server.

So I say go for it, post your photos, thats what the <img> option is for.

Nice Boat Douglas! Is the cockpit cover custom, or off the shelf?

Leo,
Thanks.. the Monterey/CA Coast trip was 6 days and 6 nights....we were off the boat about a total of 4 hours (I'm glad it was a big boat!). It was my first coastal cruising experience. I'm hoping to crew for someone (eventually) in the Baha HaHa :)
