I have a 89 C-25 and this past weekend I hit a sandbar offshore and broke my rudder. I was able to motor in to a friends house approx 60 miles from home. I was able to temporily fiberglass it back together and brace it with angle iron to get back home. Does anyone know where I might find a new rudder or is it wise to completly rewrap with fiberglass, seems that wrapping would cause it to be too heavy. Any help or suggestions would be appriecated

If you are interested, I have full size plans that I could send you, or a DXF file if you have access to an E size plotter. I used screws as clamps every 4" with release holes between, a router, power planer, beltsander and assorted files planes and hand tools. Not at all difficult, but gluing, shaping, glassing and finishing will need to be spread over several days.
