I was helping a friend load his 250 wing keel. He stated it had a 41" draft. I really thought he was mistaken because the earlier wing keels 89 and back have a draft of 2'10". Could someone tell me why the later models have a larger draft? Are the newer models better in terms of stability? or do they carry more sail?
