I am looking for new railwoods (the wood parts that serve as guides for the sliding cabin hatch) for a 1980 C25. Catalina can no longer provide them because they lost their patterns. Catalina direct can make them if I send them the old ones as patterns, but I'd rather not be without the parts for the 5 - 6 weeks it would take to get them.
Does anyone know of other sources for these parts?
Are your old ones missing, or damaged? If they are damaged, you might take Frank's suggestion and get a cabinet maker to repair them ... my hatchboards looked beyond repair, but a local cabinet guy was able to put them back together for me ... 'might be worth a try.
You might also contact David Luckenbach here in Texas. He often has spare parts from salvaged C-25s, and he is a good guy to deal with. You can email him at David Luckenbach
Thanks for the suggestions. I was actually thinking about making new ones myself (they're damaged and very age-worn). Reason I'm asking if anyone else sells them is that if I can get them for the price that CD charged when they DID have them, that'd be ideal. They sold them for about $45 for the pair; the only local lumber yard that stocks teak (they ARE teak, aren't they?) would charge way more than than just for the wood I'd need.

Yes, they are teak.
I've had pretty good luck finding teak on eBay ... if you've got the time and patience, that might be worth a try.
I had one made by H & L marine woodwork 323 616 1718. I sent the old one in and they duplicated it. I can't remember the price exactly, I think around $40.00.
