Hello, new C-250 WB owner here. 1999 Hull #422

I spent some time searching the old forums as well as google but can't seem to find the length difference between the standard and tall rig masts. Basically, trying to determine if I have a standard or tall rig as I need to buy sails.

Any help is appreciated!

P.S. once I figure out where I am going to host my photos, I have a lot to share!

Thank you

There’s a page in the left menu called
Manuals and Brochures.

Scroll down to
C250s.

In the index, there’s a page called Rigging Length.
Click on the hypertext below the heading that says Picture.
You’ll see the standard mast extrusion there for reference at 28’0”

This was incredibly helpful Bruce, thank you.

I went out and measured my mast and it is just proud of 28’ at 28’ 3/16”

Hi Luke,

The wing-keel model had standard rig and tall rig.
The tall-rig was only available for a few years.
All water-ballast models use the standard rig mast.

For your amusement, even rarer than the tall rig on the C-250 was the fin keel. Years ago, I saw a fin, with what looked like a tall mast, on a C-250 on the hard in Norwalk CT. I was so surprised, I took a photo.
