I'm a new owner of a 1995 Catalina 250. I can find the hull identification number on the boat (which I need to show an official so I can register it). I have looked all over the transom and haven't found it. Does anyone know where it is scribed?
Mine is under the starboard rub rail a foot or two from the stern. I believe there may be one or two other places where it appears inside an interior cabinet or something like that; but the starboard rub rail is the only place I remember seeing offhand.
Best--

I didn't see anything under the rub rail. I crawled all over the boat and found it in the locker under the starboard cabin seat (I had to practically climb in it to find it).
