Anyone have a feel for what an ‘89 SR/WK with average equipment and useable sails should be sold for with a trailer? Boats stays in brackish water. Bottom job is 3 years old but boat has been used very little so ablative paint hasn’t had a lot of wear on it.

So it’s a Wing Keel ‘89 with a trailer? That’s a nicer boat.
A few questions I’d ask myself are:
• When was the mast rigging replaced?
• Does it come with an outboard? What condition is that in?
• Any electrical or electronics pluses or issues, e.g.: lights, radio, chart plotter, masthead, fridge, AC, power?
• Overall appearance? If cleaned up and buffed could you ask for a few more $$

For pricing, the vintage, keel, and trailer are your keys. Everything else, even the motor, is superfluous IMHO. '89 is of course the first year of the last and best "generation" of the C-25, and relatively few were built in those last three years. For anyone who knows C-25s, you have one of the gems. Look at Yachtworld (brokers), Boattrader, Sailingtexas, and others--the buyers will be looking there too. With the trailer, you have an expanded regional if not national market--don't fixate on boats in your immediate area.

I'm not gonna give you an asking number here--that would be on the record and affect your options. I messaged an opinion...

I wondered when I didn’t hear anything back. I responded the same day you sent your original email.

I’ll try again in the morning.

BTW... where do you live?

I'm in NC but if you have a cherry '89 with a trailer, I'll figure something out
