I am in need of a rudder for my 77 C-25. Does anyone have one sitting around they'd like to get rid of?

For used, should try mass marine parts https://massmarineparts.com they are in Quincy Massachusetts and part out boats and have TONS of items -- they ship all over the world. I have purchased from them and they are very accommodating. BUT you may want to upgrade to a "balanced" rudder available through Catalina Direct, or rudder craft https://ruddercrafat.com The balanced rudder is a very not, good, but great upgrade.

Used rudders come up for sale here and on the C25 facebook website from time-to-time, but you have to act fast, because they sell quickly. In a pinch, you can make a crude rudder out of white oak if you have the hardware. It will work even if it doesn't have the correct foil shape. It just won't be as efficient. Shipwrights have made them that way for centuries.
