Posted - 11/23/2020 : 12:52:16 Length will depend on how you plan to use the pole. If you do not plan to store the pole vertically against the front of the mast, then 2' should be plenty. If the former, then probably 10 ft plus a stationary ring below the track to secure the bottom (forward end) of the pole. When flying a spinnaker, you want the pole to be fairly close to the boom, above usually, or below, depending on the size of your spinnaker, so the track doesn't need to be very long. Many people do not use a track at all. most of the time, you want the pole to be level.

Posted - 11/20/2020 : 01:28:44 I love Garhauer Marine. They are the OEM supplier to Catalina Yachts for blocks, etc. I have ordered through their website, kinda clunky, but it’s worth it.

Posted - 10/14/2020 : 17:54:12 How long a piece did you need Ray? I picked up about an 18" piece at a chandlery some time back and I don't see myself ever using it, or all of it.
Edit: I should mention it's stainless steel.

Schaefer makes it. It’s not cheap, about $50 for a two foot length
