Rules All races will be governed by the rules as defined by the 2005—2008 Racing Rules of Sailing (RR): the prescriptions of the United States Sailing Association; the rules of the Catalina 25, 250 and Capri 25 International association: except as changed by this Notice of Race. The Lighthouse Notice of Race and/ or the Sailing Instructions and amendments hereafter. [This is all included in the definition and should not be repeated. I don’t see any modifications to class rules here.] Advertising This Regatta is designated Category “A” as classified by the Catalina 25, 250 & Capri 25 International Association (C-25 Assn) Eligibility and Entry C 25 Assn US National Championship Regatta (NCR) is open to all members in good standing of the international association. Entry in the NCR regatta also constitutes entry to the Lighthouse Charity Regatta including any separate rules and limitations. The helmsman must be a registered owner of a Catalina 25, Catalina 250, or Capri 25. National Championship Series JAM (Jib and Main) for all races for C 25, tall and standard rig and the C 250 and will be scored using Lake Hefner PHRF. The Capri 25 is considered a one design. There will be five races scheduled, Two completed races constitute a series. Registration Boats entering the NCR are also entering the Lighthouse Charity Regatta. A separate Lighthouse Charity Regatta (LCR) Notice of Race will be posted in April 2008 (and available on the OCBC website). Class assignments and course configurations will be included in the Sailing instructions. Schedule June 28 11:50 Warning signal with two races to follow June 29 8:50 Warning signal with races to follow. No races will be started after 12:00 Fees Required fees for the NCR are listed on the registration form (available soon) and must be paid in full prior to the start of competition. Measurement At the discretion of the C-25 Assn Chief Measurer, sails, spars or any other part of the boat or its appendages may be measured at any time. If so designated, a measurement time and location will be given in the Sailing Instructions. Entrants must have a valid Lake Hefner PHRF certificate on file with the Oklahoma City Boat Club; if the entrant does not have a certificate on file, a temporary certificate can be issued with submission of the required PHRF information in the registration or on site at registration. Sailing Instructions The Sailing Instructions will be available at the registration desk. Scoring and Prizes Scoring will be Low Point Scoring System, RRS A4 will apply. The NCR will be scored as a Series without throw outs. All races sailed and not subsequently abandoned shall count toward the series score. This changes RRS A2. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place finishes in class of division for each seriesGuest Parking and Launching The LCR Harbor Master will assign slips and designated parking areas and will help with launching. OCBC has 2 ramps for launching and 2 hoists with power washers. At this time Lake Hefner is free of Zebra Mussels and would like our guests help to stay that way. There is camping available on the grounds and a limited number of electrical hook ups available. Unfortunately, we have no pump out station.
