Periodically people ask about raising masts. My position is well documented. (Do it until it is no big deal.) It does beg the question; just how much do these suckers weigh? Does anyone know?

And yes I am well aware they get heavier every year.

You'd have to add in hardware/rigging, but here's a place to start:

The Standard Rig (28') mast weighs about 70#, the Tall Tig (30') weighs about 75#.
