My Buffday Feb 1st, and a Dometic CF-50 fridge was my gift
it's the 110v/12v24v version.
A bit of a mod in the cabin's aft berth will make it viable. 7a max DC is a bit of an issue! but when the outboard is running or the generator/shore power is providing 110v then no issues.
Very cool! We have a Waeco that we bought to use on the boat, but have found it very useful when the power goes out here, can just hook it up to a 12 volt battery and keep our food from going bad, or at least a good portion of it.
Are you going to place yours under the counter? With the Waeco (which I think is identical to the Dometic), you can't easily open the top of the cooler when it's in place, so we've just been bungee-ing ours to the table leg.
Oh, and as I remember, it has a low voltage shut off so it won't run your battery down so far that you can't start your engine.
