I am pretty much done racing but we could put together raft ups or even overnights and rent moorings as a group. Use this thread or the forum e-mail. Thanks Should be a great season. </font id="navy"></font id="size2"></font id="Comic Sans MS">
I'm interested. Still searching for a boat but hope to find something by next month, it will be moored in Northport. I'm a newbie to sailing but very familiar with the north shore of long island having owned boats my whole life. Would love to get some general sailing/ C25 tips from you guys.

You can also check out the Long Island Sound Catalina Association (LISCA). They have cruises, picnics, transient moorings for members, winter get-togethers,... We belonged years ago but didn't get in on many activities. I have friends who are still members.
David, You're right - the LISCA is very active. My wife and I had some friends with a beautiful 34 ft (I think) Catalina they kept in Fairfield. We visited them in Captain's Cove in Black Rock Harbor during one summer weekend - they did some "racing" and a lot of partying. Was a very fun group from both sides of the sound.
